Mission Projects & Trips
Mission Projects
COPPER CREEK PROJECT
Each Saturday (noon-2pm) we connect with children and youth at Copper Creek Apts. through games, music, and sharing the “good news” of Christ through our love for them. Although our youth are leading, anyone may join us for these projects.
CORNERSTONE PROJECT
One Saturday a month (8:30am-noon) we prepare & serve a breakfast for homeless folks through Cornerstone Church in south Dallas.

ENGLAND SUMMER MISSION TRIP EXCHANGE
For more than 10 years, our church has conducted a student exchange & mission trip with churches in England. At least one student from our partner church comes for a 10-day visit during our annual summer Student Camp. Then, at least two FBCR students return with them for a 10-day stay in England. These trips are designed to give our students a better understanding of other cultures and to allow them to experience mission opportunities. This trip is limited to grades 10-12.

MISSION ARLINGTON AND OTHER PROJECTS
For the past few years our student ministry has sponsored a 3-day mission project with such organizations as Mission Arlington, Cornerstone Church, and Buckner Benevolences in Dallas. One of the perks of this project is a trip to see a Ranger’s baseball game the last day. This project is designed for all students who are not on the student choir trip.
