The Event of the Season!

Last December, the worship ministry presented the 9th Annual Carols: The Sights and Sounds of Christmas performance.

There was something to entertain everyone, including Frosty the Snowman and Santa, the classic Christmas carols, and a live nativity scene.  Over 3,000 people attended one of the three performances, and we met over 200 first time guests to FBCR at the welcome center at the end of each night.

We appreciate everyone who attended and volunteered, including over 300 people in the choirs, orchestras, drama, and tech/stage crews.  What a wonderful celebration of the birth of Jesus!

Part 1: The Sights and Sounds

This year our student choir & children's ensemble hopped on The Polar Express to sign some of your favorite Christmas season songs, plus several from the motion picture "The Polar Express."

Part 2: The Concert

In Part 2 the focus turned to a classic Christmas concert featuring our 200 voice choir and orchestra. There were special solos and a selection of holiday favorites along with beautiful new songs.

Part 3: A Christmas Nativity

The final Carols experience was the visual presentation of the birth of Jesus, complete with processional and live animals.  This year the apostle Luke narrated the story while the choir and orchestra helped highlight some of the most crucial moments of Jesus' life, from birth to death.
