Open House – Come and See What’s Inside
Thursdays, 9:30 p.m. - ActivitiesCenter(Building E)
Open House is a weekly discussion group for college students that meets Thursday nights at 9:30 p.m. in the FBCR Activities Center.
RELEVANT TOPICS
At Open House, we discuss topics relevant to our everyday Christian lives. From relationships to current events, anything’s on the table for this conversation. Each meeting, the group collectively decides the topic for the next week, giving everyone some time to prepare for the discussion. If you’re too swamped with exams and homework, just show up and share your two cents.
OPEN DISCUSSION
And there’s no lecturing going on here…we get enough of that in class! This is truly an open discussion group. One of our awesome leaders will always provide a brief glimpse at what the Bible says about the issue and then prompt questions to get the discussion going, but the rest of the time is spent sharing thoughts and talking with each other.
LOVING COMMUNITY
Another goal we have for Open House is to embody community. As God’s children, we are a friendly community of brothers and sisters, who love, encourage and care for each other. We want to share this love with others and always welcome new faces, so bring your thoughts and a friend and join us on Thursday nights!
